Doron Akiva was born on December 24, 1986 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Started drawing as a child, where his love for the world of art began.
In 2011 he studied visual communication at HIT and immediately after
worked as a graphic designer for large organizations in Israel.
His studies then continued in 2014 when he studied
concept art at the College of Animation and Cinema in Tel Aviv. He worked as
an illustrator and designer for films, commercials.
At the same time, Doron studied classical painting in a self-taught manner.

His paintings are made with strict tonality, a limited palette,
Form, atmosphere, symbolism and influences from classical art.

In an era flooded with endless information of fake and competitive content, emotion and identity are
blurred And there is a constant feeling that our lives are not good enough and we question our happiness.
In his work he tries to preserve an authentic emotion that is slowly disappearing through portraits that come from personal memories, conscious, subconscious and observation.

His works are among private collectors in Israel and abroad.
Doron currently lives in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he lives and creates.
